WEET-BIX Cheesy Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 WEET-BIX biscuit
  • ¾ cup fresh full cream milk
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 spoon BBQ spice
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Half an onion (finely chopped)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Oil

Method

  1. Place the WEET-BIX in a medium mixing bowl and add the milk.
  2. Beat the egg in a separate bowl and add the mixture to the milk-soaked WEET-BIX.
  3. Add the mince and the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Mix everything together with a fork. Do not overmix, just make sure everything is blended well.
  5. Roll your mince into meatballs and fry on a medium heat for about 20 minutes until they are evenly browned.
  6. Serve on their own as a delicious snack, or with spaghetti, or as a side accompaniment to another main.
